Creating an account and starting to quest or earn money is free. Posters pay for successfully completed paid Quests. A temporary payment hold may apply before work begins. Disputed completion is reviewed before payment or refund is resolved under the applicable cancellation and dispute terms. Optional cosmetics are separate.

What is Side Quests?
Side Quests is a nearly finished marketplace app for short, local tasks—connecting people who need an extra hand with nearby Questers who want to earn.
What kinds of tasks can I post?
Short, local tasks such as cleaning, moving help, basic yard work, furniture assembly, organizing, jump starts, and changing a flat tire. Side Quests is built for an extra pair of hands on everyday jobs.
Don’t apps like this already exist?
There are other ways to hire local help, but Side Quests is being built around something more immediate: short, everyday tasks that need to get done now- or soon. Instead of planning a service days ahead, the goal is to quickly post a Side Quest, connect with someone nearby who’s available, and get moving. Think less “hire someone for a project,” and more “I need a hand with this today; like now.”
Is Side Quests available yet?
The marketplace app is nearly complete. We’re awaiting the iOS build and wrapping up a few final testing phases before our first public launch in Kitsap County. Sign up for launch updates and Founder access.
Does SideKick post Quests automatically?
No. SideKick drafts your Quest with you, but nothing goes live until you review and confirm it. You’re always the one who hits post.
Am I automatically assigned to a Quest?
Nope. Posters choose who they want from the people who show interest. Nobody gets auto-assigned to anything, ever.
How do XP and ranks work?
Every completed Quest, on-time arrival, and good review earns XP. Stack enough and you rank up—bronze to platinum and beyond—each with its own skull insignia and real-world perks.
Is this only for urgent tasks?
Nope. Post it for right now with Quest Now, or schedule it for later. Your call.
What do Founder perks actually get me?

How do I know who I’m hiring?
Side Quests is being built around profiles, ratings, reviews, reputation, and verification tools so Posters can make more informed choices. This is a better alternative to 'I hope this quester doesn't suck' every time.
How much does a Side Quest cost?
Free to download. Posters will choose a reward($) based on the task, time, difficulty, and urgency. The exact payment and fee structure is still being developed. For example, we don’t really recommend paying someone $900 to help you jump your car. Unless you got it like that. If you do, please send us an email.
Is Side Quests available everywhere?
Not yet. We’re launching local-first in Kitsap County before we go anywhere else.
Is Side Quests a job or employment platform?
Side Quests is being built as a marketplace for individual local tasks, not as a traditional employment service. The exact marketplace terms and requirements are still being finalized.
